The Workshop School is a democratic, project-based public high school in Philadelphia. There are two big ideas that drive the school. First, we believe in creating a community that values EVERYONE. Students and staff all have talents and abilities that our community needs. We create a community that encourages us to do our best work and be our best selves. Second, we believe school should prepare you for life and as such, school work should be real work. Much of our work is interdisciplinary, project-based with a focus on an outside audience and assessed by real-world standards with a focus on real world skills.
