PurposeCon

PurposeCon is the culmination of a two-year project! 21 Philadelphia students have designed interactive exhibits to share their purpose journeys with the city. REGISTER HERE.

A community of practice was created with teachers from seven Philadelphia public schools. Teachers were trained to facilitate a journey for students - a journey that helped high school students identify their purpose and participate in real-world learning experiences that helped them develop the skills necessary to realize that purpose in the world.

At PurposeCon students will share how they, with support and guidance from their teachers, connected with their purposes and used networks of their peers, teachers, parents community members, local businesses, and businesses in the region to create learning experiences that enhanced skills that align with that purpose.

Here's how you can support these future leaders.

  • attend PurposeCon

  • listen and ask questions about the students and their exhibits, and share your own

  • consider mentoring, hiring, or connecting a student to someone in your network

Your involvement is crucial. Our students are counting on you to rally behind them and keep them encouraged in their pursuit of lives of meaning and purpose. PLC is excited to host this event that centers students. Light refreshments will be served.

This is the kind of work that can transform our city. They need your support. Join us.
